Scheduled to be held from March 25-28, 2015, MARBLE 2015 will celebrate it 20th anniversary. This international natural stone and technologies fair is one of the world's largest three natural stone fairs. MARBLE is the rising star of the Turkish economy. Last year around 1,182 companies participated in the fair. The fair has a history of continuous growth. For MARBLE 2015 the new exhibition had been schemed by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in order to develop city in fair sector and to reach world standards. The utility facilities are being revalued in Kultur park, the name of the fair. IZFAS is organizing the fair with a moto to come more closer to reach her target of making Izmir the city of Fairs and Congress. The organizer is targeting MARBLE FAIR'S world leadership by providing a major meeting platform in Izmir every March. In 1995 MARBLE FAIR was held for the first time with 47 companies over 2,600 sq m area. In 1998 it has been accepted as member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). To-day the fair is a world brand. Last year 1,182 local and foreign companies participated representing 77 countries sectoral representation from 81 provinces.
